    Grilamid TR90 is a near-indestructible homopolynamide nylon characterized by high bending strength and the ability to withstand extreme impacts.

    The material is also exceptionally resistant to chemicals and sweat, as well as damage caused by ultraviolet rays.

  • Quickchange

    Quickchange frames lets you switch to lenses that best suit the challenge ahead of you.

    Specific frame designs include special sets of lenses. These lenses were designs to make the piece usable in a wide variety of lighting conditions. Each set enhances visual acuity in a given situation.

  • Polartech

    Keeps the finish in line by cutting through the glare.

    Polarized lenses act like optical blinds that rearrange light and let you see through glare. These lenses are the only truly effective way of eliminating glare.

    Water, fog, rain, or early morning dew have reflective properties, which enhance reflected glare. In addition to water, glare is also a problem on roads and highways. In competition, clear and unhampered vision can give you that winning edge.

    Light moves in two dimensions: horizontally and vertically. Vertical light enables you to see colors and contrasts, while horizontal light simply creates optical noise or glare. Polarizing lenses selectively filter out the horizontal light, thus eliminating glare.

  • Resillens

    Resillens material was developed by aerospace designers for use in helmet visors.

    The material is also found in bulletproof windows, airplane windows and, riot police shields. It is ten times more impact-resistant than other plastics, and exceeds resistance requirements by 40 times.

    Spyder Resillens™ is lighter and about 20% thinner than standard plastic or glass, which stop them from constantly sliding down the nose. The material is a natural ultraviolet filter, blocking 100% of the sun's damaging UV rays without the need for special lens coating. This is important for outdoor sports, because researchers believe that constant overexposure to UV rays can cause eye damage.

    Good enough for space and law enforcement, good enough for you.

  • Hydrophobic

    A moisture repellent lens treatment that makes the lens surface so slick that water forms into droplets and slides off. The wearer will get a distortion-free view, even in pouring rain.

  • Adaplite

    These lenses darken on exposure to ultraviolet radiation found in outdoor sunlight.

    After exposure to UV light (such as walking back indoors), the lenses gradually revert to their clear state. Photochromic lenses rely on organic photochromic molecules to achieve the reversible darkening effect.

    These lenses darken in sunlight, but not indoors under artificial light, since typical room lights do not contain the UV rays.

    These are perfect all-day lenses for sunrise-to-sundown epic rides treks or road trips.

  • Flex Nosepad

    Flex nosepads provide greater comfort and stability by flexing to fit on the bridge of the nose.

  • Swiss Grilamid

    Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is an advanced high impact polymer and fast becoming the preferred material for helmets, because of its ability to withstand impacts better.

    ABS is also less rigid than fiberglass, giving it better shock absorption qualities. The material is more versatile, and can be injection molded into more complex shapes.

  • Dual Density EPS Liner

    The soft but firm layer of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) rests just beneath the fabric inner liner. This layer absorbs most of the energy in a crash and also provides channels to direct airflow inside the helmet.

  • Dual Visor

    An internal retractable and tinted sun visor that eases eye strain caused by intense sunlight.

    Removes the need and hassle of replacing visors to suit varying light conditions.Visors feature a mechanism that makes it easy to flip inner visor up and down.

  • Quick Release Retention System

    Equipped with rapid-release buckles that can quickly and easily be fastened and unfastened with one hand.

    Spyder's new design eliminates the need to re-adjust the strap every time the helmet is worn.

  • Aerovents

    Full-functional intake and exhaust ventilation ports are strategically positioned to maintain a comfortable temperature inside the helmet by dissipating heat and moisture from the inner liner. Vent hoods allow the ports to be open or shut when needed.

  • Safety Rated Helmets

    THE UN-ECE and DOT are safety standards that our motorcycle helmets pass through. The UN ECE standards are standards set by the European Council for motorcycle helmets, majority of Spyder Helmets pass this test.

    The DOT standard is a standard set by the United States Government. Both standards incorporate a series of tests to ensure the quality and durability of motorcycling helmets.

  • Removable and Washable Lining

    Stay comfortably cool as Spyder's ultra-absorbent, quick-dry inner liners wicks moisture away from your head and into the interior of the helmet, where the ventilation system blows it dry. These washable / replaceable liners can be removed easily, and dry faster than other polyester liners.

  • Polycarbonate Scratch Resistant Visor

    Polycarbonate lenses are thinner and lighter than traditional plastic helmet lenses. They also offer 100 percent ultraviolet (UV) protection and are up to ten times more impact-resistant than regular plastic lenses.

    Polycarbonate was developed for aerospace applications, and is also currently used for the helmet lenses of astronauts and for space shuttle windshields.

  • Airfit System

    Air pressure assisted helmet fitting technology allowing riders to custom fit their helmets for added comfort and security. Once the helmet is in place micro adjustments can be made to your fit by inflating and deflating the AirFit System to your own personal preference
